How to care for acrylic mirrors

You can find all the information you need to care for your new acrylic mirror below. If you have a question that is not answered here, please email htmirrors@gmail.com

How to hang your new mirror

All HT Mirrors products are supplied with fixings attached to the mirror. These fixings consist of a French Cleat bracket (suitable for the weight of your mirror) and a stainless steel flat fixing bracket. Please do consult a professional if you do not feel confident to hang your mirror yourself. Each mirror weighs up to 8kg so proper installation is essential. HT Mirrors cannot accept any responsibility for injury caused by improper installation. Follow this video guide for advice.

Mirror Care

  • This mirror is for indoor use only

  • To clean the mirror: wipe clean with a damp cloth, use a small amount of washing up liquid if required

  • To clean the frame: wipe clean with a damp cloth

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners on the mirror or frame as this will cause damage to the product.

  • Scratches to acrylic can be polished out using a plastic polish and following manufacturers instructions.

  • Remember! Mirrors can cause fires - make sure to position your mirror carefully. Direct sunlight reflected in mirrors can cause a dazzle hazard or an ignition source.  Always perform a risk assessment when selecting a location for a mirror.
